Trial by Fire
is a fire dancer organization of multi-disciplinary artists founded intentionally to cultivate the arts to create a collaborative, cohesive, vibrant and ever evolving multi cultural collective with carefully codified rules and guidelines to maintain a safe environment to grow a purposeful and involved creative community.
Over the years it has gathered partners and allies in all branches of the arts to create a vibrant and engaging collective of creatives dedicated to grow and nurture their respective communities.

Trial by Fire leads the No Alcohol, Substance Conscious and Mandatory Consent art and music scene in Hawaii.
At its heart, the Trial by Fire Community is about Fire Artists pursuing their passions far beyond just the allure of the flame; it is about facilitating a community that allows them to nurture their Divine spark of creativity in whatever form it may be.
Trial by Fire uses the Fire Arts as the fulcrum of its endeavor in gathering and nurturing Artists. Be it Art, Dance, Music, Yoga, Photography, Videography, and even in the Healing Arts of the Body, Mind and Spirit - Trial By Fire encourages everyone to embody their dreams so that they may bring them into reality.
By supporting our community, you become a Patron of the Arts, enabling our Artist Community to continue to pursue and live their passions.
Trial by Fire Articles of Conduct
- Trial by Fire exists to nurture and create Artists in all disciplines with an emphasis on the Fire Arts and Music as its key identity and uses it to gather all other arts.
- Trial by Fire offers a spiritual and holistic approach to the arts grounded in awareness of an individual's responsibility and accountability to humanity and its myriad cultures, beliefs and ideals to create and nurture communities centered on the arts.
To share with respect to individuals free agency and not to assert or impose one's own beliefs on others with respect to the primary host.
- Official events hosted by Trial by Fire are always a refuge from alcohol, are substance conscious, upholds mandatory consent and are environmentally responsible.
- Trial by Fire as a principle does not seek to preach against the consumption of alcohol or harmful substances; instead it aims to provide an alternative option where alcohol and commonly abused substances are strictly prohibited.
- Trial by Fire official events and gatherings are intentionally a safe container created with rules and guidelines to combat sexual harrassment and assault that is commonly ecountered in the Art and Music scene.
- While Trial by Fire members and allies may be hired for events or performances that have alcohol it will not on principle work with known organizers, establishments, individuals and venues that have a reputation for excessive and irresponsible consumption of alcohol.

Cory's love for the outdoors and making genuine connections with people while in nature has led him to become one of the most dynamic DJ's that literally feels the pulse of the crowd to keep the vibe elevated at all times.
Cory has become easily recognizable with his 60-pound mobile speaker and DJ set up he carries around tirelessly on hikes and into the wilderness to bring the gift of music wherever he goes.
From the beach, to the mountains, and to the forests - DJ Pair-a-Dice is part of the new age of a music and art scene that is celebrated and practiced by the waters, within the shelter of the forests, and under the open sky.

For as long as I can remember, since my youth, I have been gathering people... for the purpose of fun, joy, and life.
Over time, I realized my affinity and passion for the Arts and chose it as the instrument to bring people together - greatest among these, in my personal opinion, are the Fire Arts.
A wide variety of artistic disciplines, from music to dance to yoga to martial arts, are fused in the way Trial by Fire practices the Fire Arts. It is an audio, visual, and movement meditation that is near spiritual in nature.
Since time immemorial, we as a society have gathered around the hearths, the fires that brought light to the dark, warmth, succor, and good community. Trial By Fire aims to keep this timeless and intrinsically human practice alive.
